I Am Acceptance TM  condemns these acts of violence, intolerance and fear tactics. As a leading non-profit working with college students to address, shame, fear, stigma and lack of understanding, we see these acts as stemming from a place of fear, hurt and hatred.  Hurt people hurt people. Wounded people attempt to inflict wounds.

I Am Acceptance TM  is committed to community, understand, health, wellness, and acceptance.  We are committed to young adults being okay with asking for help.  We are committed to giving students the permission to say I am wounded, it hurts. We affirm you. You do not have to hide.

If you are stressed, anxious or hurting emotionally, you do not have to hide.  Emotional distress is not a sign of weakness; mental illness is not a sign of brokenness. If you are feeling distress during this time or at anytime, we urge you to go to your campus counseling center, a local counseling center or provider, reach out to a local mental health organization such as NAMI, Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, American Foundation For Suicide Prevention. Or if in crisis, call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline – 1-800-273-8255.

Disclaimer, please reach out to these resources directly as I Am Acceptance TM  is not a licensed provider.

We support your health and wellness.  We support whole, healthy, affirming and accepting students, adults, campuses and campus communities.  Please be aware of your friends and take care of yourself.

Yours in wellness,
